FAQ: What is a Styled Session?

Styled workshops are a fantastic way to meet like-minded photographers, models, and vendors. During these sessions, you will have a beautifully curated setting in which to shoot and enhance your portfolio.

FAQ: I am a new or inexperienced photographer, can I join?

Most definitely, styled sessions are brilliant ways for new photographers to start building a portfolio. It provides them with the opportunity to shoot a variety of scenes and occasions that newer photographers don’t often have exposure to. The work created during the session can be used toward their portfolio.

FAQ: I am not very confident in “posing” or directing, can you help?

You bet ya! So, during a styled shoot session, all the attendees will have an opportunity to “run the show” in terms of posing and directing the scene. This allows everyone to not only learn from one another but also gives everyone an equal opportunity to capture the scene as they would portray it. If you do not feel up to directing the scene, fear not, you will not be forced into it. It’s a fun experience from which we can all learn.

FAQ: What is the cost to attend a session?

Every session’s fee will vary depending on the vendors involved and the location used.  The information pertaining to each session will be updated and made available once finalized.  However, if you want to be the first to know about new sessions and have access to them, then please subscribe to the mailing list below.

FAQ: How many people will be attending each session?

The maximum number of attendees may vary per session depending on the location and scale of the workshop. I always aim to keep the sessions to a smaller group in order to spend time with every attendee and ensure everyone can get the most out of the session.
